In Christ we are free. We are not under condemnation
The fact that we sin many times, even as a believer, we have the assurance of knowing that Jesus’ death on the cross set us free from the condemnation of the practice of sin. The free gift of God, His grace, gives us the realization that we are not under the realm of sin. For a believer who takes on the image of Christ we have the free gift of grace which absolves or sets us free of any condemnation. Not that we purposely sin, but that we become freer from purposely sinning as a result of our repentance.
And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. Romans 5:16 NLT (New Living Translation)
