“And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night” (Exodus 13:21 NKJV).
As God led the Israelites from Egypt, so God leads us if we listen for Him through His word. We must trust God’s word in all that we do. In our trusting God, we must not be afraid or doubtful of His leadership and guidance (“For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters:” Revelation 7:17 KJV).
Jesus is the “light” or the Hebrew word “owr” spoken of in Exodus 13:21 (“owr” means illumination, to be luminous, glorious, kindle, [be, en-, give, show] light, set on fire, shine, luminary [in every sense, including lightning, happiness, etc.], bright, clear).
Look for the leadership and guidance of Christ to be able to see and experience His promises for you (Numbers 14:22-24 KJV).
God Bless You All!
