Please look up Colossians 3:22-25! Read your Holy Bible everyday!
In Colossians 3:22, the Word of God says “Servants, obey in all things your masters (small “m”) according to the flesh;” (King James Version). That is to say “Slaves, obey your earthly masters….” (New Living Translation).
However, as you read further in Colossians 3:24, it states “that the Master you are serving is Christ” (New Living Translation).
We have earthly masters we serve who can be and are unjust. However, Colossians 3:25 states that “But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done:” (King James Version).
In “The King James Study Bible,” Thomas Nelson Publishers, in the Colossians 3:24 commentary, it states that “The fact that Christian slaves will receive salvation [“the inheritance” — read the beginning of this commentary] from the Lord rather than from men verifies the assertion in verse 23 that they serve Christ, not their masters [small “m”].
Who are we as Christians a slave (New Living Translation) or servant (King James Version) to?
We, by these scriptures of the Word of God, are all to be subservient (or the meaning of the word “Servants” in Colossians 3:22 King James Version) to Christ — earthly masters included — (“But if you do wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites.” — New Living Translation).
So to end this blog, the Word of God states “Masters, be just and fair to your slaves. Remember that you also have a Master — in heaven” (Colossians 4:1 New Living Translation).
I am praying for the martyrs and their families in Charleston, South Carolina, and for all the martyrs and their families around the world in the name of Jesus!
God Bless You All!
