Brenda A. McGee has taught piano and music theory since age 14.

Brenda has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Theory and Composition from Mercy College/Westchester Conservatory of Music, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Music Composition from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) with studies in Piano Performance in both schools.

Brenda created and taught piano and music theory since 2002 for 8 years for the piano program at the Watts Towers Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA. This piano program continues even until the present day after Brenda left in 2009.
