There are times when one is hurt by another, and then the one hurt, hurts back, or hurts someone else. There are those who are hurt, and then turn inward and hurt themselves.

Sometimes when we find favor in the eyes of God and others, we can find jealousy in the eyes of others as well (Daniel 6:3, 4). Jealous people can put the true believer in harm’s way (Daniel 6:5-13). However, God is our deliverer from those who would seek to harm the true believer like Daniel who was a true believer (Daniel 6:16, 21, 26-27). Didn’t He deliver Daniel.

We must know in our hearts that God is our God even in our season of want. We are to seek or search painstakingly for God in order to be in relationship with Him earnestly in childhood or in adulthood as an early task of the day in our prayers,

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10.
Any hurt, pain, or season of despair and discouragement will bring us to a time of just being still (still, i.e., raphah, cause to heal, repair, and make whole). It is in our stillness that God will be with us and He will heal us. God is exalted in this stillness by His power to heal in that He is lifted up as He puts to rest our sorrows.
