Have the Courage that God Inspires You to Have
God instructs us to not be afraid of our adversaries. Our adversaries may send us a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7), but we are to redirect that fear to a spirit of courage, i.e., do not fear nor be afraid of them (Deuteronomy 31:6). We have courage knowing that God has our back while we go through the tribulation. He goes with us – he directs our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6) – never leaving or forsaking us (Deuteronomy 31:6). With God on our side (1 Chronicles 22:18) we can be courageous. Praise be to Almighty God.
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV (New King James Version).
